Maïa Vidal (born February 20, 1988) is an American-born composer, songwriter, musician, and visual artist. Currently based in Europe (primarilyBarcelona and Paris), she has toured in Europe, Canada, and the United States.

She was a teenager and made this animation for a school project here in Tiny Town. I had the pleasure of making her acquaintance on my "bulk bagging" volunteer work shift in the early part of this century. We had good laughs and her Mom, Noni Korf, often joined in on the shift. Noni is an artist and designer, a filmmaker and generally all around great rep of Tiny Town's best. I also know Maia's Dad, Franck Vidal ... who now lives in France, a good musician and artist in his own right.

Maia's various groups did a lot of gigs in the Chapter House and this is a sweet send-up of her take on the place, done in an appropriate old-timey way. We thank Maia and Noni for allowing us to post this tiny vignette.

We all miss The Chappy. May it rise again!
